Here is all the info on the elements although you dont have to know all this stuff but it helps to have it. A good idea is to copy all of this and put in your Bos. Enjoy!!
The Wiccan Elements
The classical Elements and their attributes are laid out in a convenient table. Many ancient practices and philosophies use a set of archetypal classical Elements to explain patterns in nature. The Wiccan Elements are very important for Wicca. They are Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Aether (Spirit).
Symbols of the Elements are used for protection and spells. The Elements are connected with each and every process in Nature. They are symbolic of physical, spiritual and emotional attributes. Each practitioner must learn and feel the Elements. It takes time to contemplate and understand them. Be personal – read the tables, learn about the Wiccan Elements and try to see them all around you.
Many Wiccans do meditate on these elements. The knowledge of The Elements is very important in herbal lore and other magick practices.

The Wiccan Elements – Air Fire Water Earth Aether (Spirit)
More about the Elements:
AIR-
The element Air is typically the first to be invoked (though some start with Earth) and it is drawn from the East. The colors yellow, pale pink, or white may represent it.
Air represents knowledge, reason, clarity, intellect, grace, sense, and represents the power To Know on the Witches' Pyramid. If you are extremely booksmart with clear common sense, this is your natural gift. If it is not, get more intune with Air. It is needed for the intelligence to understand what you are doing or attempting to accomplish.
Altar tools that correspond with Air: the Athame, Wand, Bell, Censer, Bird Feather; whatever feels comfortable to you and represents the element in your mind.
When invoking it, feel the life-sustaining air in your lungs and ackowledge your own swirling, progressing intellect. Sense the hardly traceable breeze on your arm and the ever moving winds far in the sky. Feel the intelligence of the God and his revelations. Breathe in the cool, calming, and inspiring element that is indefinite.
Fire-
The element Fire is next in line of invocation, and it is drawn from the South. The color red is typically used to represent it.
Fire is governed by passion, energy, power, aggressive strength, fierce change, sensuality, and represents the power To Will on the Witches' Pyramid. If you are full of energy, self-motivation, power, sexuality, or find yourself with a hot temper, this is your natural gift. If it is not, get more in tune with Fire. It is needed for the oomph to finish all you've started.
Altar tools that correspond with Fire: Candle, Cauldron, Athame, Wand, Burning Herbs; whatever feels comfortable to you and represents the element in your mind.
When invoking it, feel the fire inside your spirit, and the heat of your body. Sense the fire around you, under the Earth's crusts, in the energy that lies within everything. Feel the Spirit of the Goddess and her empowering flame. Breathe in the heat and love and passion that is indefinite.
*Note* In the Witches' Pyramid, To Will comes after Water's power, To Dare. I hope I do not cause confusion by this.
Water-
The element Water is invocated next, and is drawn from the South. The color blue is typically used to represent it.
Water stands for the subconscious mind, deep emotions, intuition, psychic abilities, self-expression, and represents the power To Dare on the Witches' Pyramid. If you are very in tune with your emotions, host any psychic powers, are always moving or changing, this is your natural gift. If it is not, get more in tune with Water. It is needed for the ability to begin your tasks.
Altar tools that correspond with Water: Chalice, Cauldron, Bowl of Water, Sea Shells; whatever feels comfortable to you and represents the element in your mind.
When invoking it, picture the blood within your body, and the tears that release painful and negative emotions. Sense the water within the air, and imagine the feeling of floating in water. Let peace and calm wash over you. See the forgiving tears of the Goddess and her offered sense of release and consent. Breathe in the cool, rolling, relaxing waves that are indefinite.
Earth-
The Element Earth is the last base element and is invocated from the North. Again, some start out with Earth and go through to Water before invoking spirit. The color green is typical, but brown is acceptable to represent it.
Earth represents stability, the life and death cycle, economic wealth, passive strength, trustworthiness, and symbolizes the power To Keep Silent on the Witches' Pyramid. If you are the rock of your friends, are sensible with money, think decisions through before rushing in, and extremely humble, this is your natural gift. If it is not, get more in tune with Earth. It is needed for the sensibility needed before, during and after any action.
Altar tools that correspond with Earth: the Pentacle, Herbs, Crystals, anything that comes from the Earth; whatever feels comfortable to you and represents the element in your mind.
When invoking it, visualize the solidity and strength of your body. Sense the Earth beneath you, and picture being inside of a sheltering cave or beneath a Willow's peaceful branches. See the strength of the God and his encouragement to take initiative. Breathe in the safety and comfort that are indefinite.
Spirit-
Spirit, or Ether, is the final element which is invocated from the center. Note that some do not use Spirit in the casting of circles and any invocations. The colors violet, purple, white, or black may be used to represent it.
Spirit is the final essence that pulls everything together. It adds the higher reason, and the deeper self into the circle. It recognizes the energy of the self in co-existence with the energy of everything around us. It is extremely hard to define. If you are extremely spiritual, intuitive, highly gifted in psychic ways, feel part of the greater cosmos, are at peace with yourself and those around you, and overall do not seem to fit in with the four base elements, this is your natural gift. Note that few beginners are adept in this element yet, and that is okay. Spirituality is something that must flower and grow; it is rare for it to be pre-existing without nurturement.
Altar tools that correspond with Spirit: Cauldron, Wand, Candle; whatever feels comfortable to you and represents the element in your mind.
This may be the easiest to invoke because you're already becoming so relaxed and in tune that 'spirit' just comes naturally, seeing as you've felt it through each of the elements before. Feel the raw energy around you and within you. Visualize the flame and dedication to your beliefs and practices, on your own self intelligence and abilities. Visualize the God and Goddess' very essences breathing their love into your soul. Breathe in the electrifying power that is indefinite.
Spells
and
Phases of the Moon |
Depending on your spell, you should aim to
cast it in harmony with the cycles of the moon to achieve the most effective
results. The three aspects of the moon are the Waxing (or New), Full and
Waning. The moon phase is more important than the day of the week, but do
take into consideration the days of the week and the times when casting. Most
spells are more effective under the moon but if you are casting in the day
then also take into consideration the day of the week and the time. The Moon. For
Wiccans, it is far more than a heavenly body that might catch our eye as we
drive home late at night, its fullness shining through trees or brightly
overhead. For many Wiccan, she is the embodiment of the Goddess, she is
Maiden, Mother and Crone.
It
is also an important source of natural energy that is essential in magick, if
you perform your spells and rituals at the right lunar phase. Performing
spells during the wrong phase of the moon can seriously debilitate the spell,
producing no result or possibly the wrong result. The Wheel of the Moon, is
approximately 28 1/2 days long, waxing to Full Moon and waning to New Moon.
As the Wheel of the Moon continues
on its never ending course, the moon also travels through the different
astrological signs, just as the sun does, only more rapidly. When the moon
resides within the various signs, the sign influences the magickal aspect of
the moon.
EARTH spells should be
preformed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that
element: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
AIR spells should be
preformed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that
element: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
FIRE spells should be
performed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that
element: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
WATER spells should be
preformed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that
element: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

The
New Moon
|
The Moon is waxing and growing. This should be a time to
plan spells that introduce new beginnings or projects. A new career, house
move, job, relationship, any new venture in life. Waxing Moon means
the moon is getting larger in the sky, moving from the New Moon towards the
Full Moon. This is a time for spells that attract, that bring positive
change, spells for love, good luck, growth. This is a time for new
beginnings, to conceptualize ideas, to invoke. At this time the moon
represents the Goddess in her Maiden aspect, give praise to Epona, Artemis or
one of the other Maiden Goddesses. The period of the waxing moon lasts about
14 days.
|
The
Full Moon
|
This is a time when the Moon is at its most powerful, and
the magic most potent. Performing any positive spell at this time will
achieve good results. This is the ideal time for healing, guidance, and
completion spells. Full Moon is
when the moon has reached its zenith, it forms a perfect silvery sphere in
the sky. This is a time for spells that transform, increase psychic ability,
for fertility spells and invocation to lunar goddesses. This is a time of
strength, love and power. At this time the moon represents the Goddess in her
Mother aspect, give praise to Cerridwen, Isis or one of the other Mother
Goddesses. The period of the Full Moon lasts from about 3 days before to 3
days after the actual full moon.
|
The
Waning Moon
|
The casting out of the old ways, banishing old habits,
smoking, eating habits, the removal of troubles and worries. Waning Moon means
the moon is decreasing in size, moving from the Full Moon towards the New
Moon. This is a time for spells that banish, release, reverse. This is a time
to break bad habits or bad addictions, to end bad relationships. This is a
time of deep intuition and a time for divination. At this time the moon
represents the Goddess in her Crone Aspect, give praise to Hecate, Morrigan
or one of the other Crone Goddesses. The period of the waning moon lasts
about 14 days.
